This is a formal notification that MedWay Ambulance Service, LLC has ceased operations and is officially closing its business effective Saturday March 14th, 2026.

After more than 10 years and careful consideration, the decision was made to discontinue services and dissolve the business. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the community, partners, and organizations that have supported our operations during the time we provided medical transportation services. All business activities, services, and operations under MedWay Ambulance Service, LLC have been concluded as of the date listed above. Any remaining administrative matters related to the closure will be handled in accordance with applicable regulations and business requirements.

Ambulance Transportation

Specialized training for specialized transport:

Our team is highly trained and experienced in transporting patients and families. We assist each and every patient with care, providing minimal wait times and ensuring patients reach appointments on time. Our team members will include Drivers who are certified in CPR and First Responder, EMT’s who carry certification as a National Registered EMT but also through the State of South Carolina as well and are familiar in transporting the elderly as well as passengers who have mental and physical conditions, such as kidney failure. In addition, proper stretcher training, emergency preparedness, defensive driving and vehicle upkeep.

That Special Transport Touch

If a patient is bed bound, our team can deliver hands-on stretcher transportation, which includes:

  • Moving bed-bound passengers from beds into stretchers

  • Transporting passengers on and from the vehicle

  • Securely and safely strapping them into the vehicle

  • Transporting them all the way off the stretcher and to their destination

  • Providing clean stretcher equipment

  • We also provide wheelchair accessible patients transport with a wheelchair van
